Description
Epithalon (epitalon, AEDG) is a synthetic tetrapeptide, Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly, designed after epithalamin, an extract of the pineal gland. It is mainly studied for its effects on telomerase, melatonin and cellular ageing. Lyophilized vial intended exclusively for laboratory research.

What is Epithalon?
It is a four-amino-acid peptide developed by Vladimir Khavinson's team in Saint Petersburg, based on work on epithalamin. It belongs to the peptide "bioregulators" studied in gerontology.
What the research studies
Publications, mostly from the same group, concern telomerase activity in cell culture, the melatonin rhythm and lifespan in animals. Human data remain limited and rarely reproduced. This vial is not a medicine.
