About GHK-Cu

What is GHK-Cu?

GHK-Cu is a tripeptide, that is to say a chain of three amino acids (glycine, histidine and lysine), which binds a copper ion. It was identified in 1973 in human plasma by researcher Loren Pickart. It is found naturally in blood, saliva and urine, and its concentration decreases with age.

What the research studies

GHK-Cu is one of the most studied peptides in scientific cosmetics and tissue regeneration: collagen synthesis, healing, skin remodeling. It is also found in many cosmetic treatments.

It is the copper that gives the powder its characteristic blue color.

Frequently asked questions

Why is GHK-Cu powder blue?

The color comes from the copper ion bound to the peptide. A uniform blue GHK-Cu powder is normal.

What is the difference between GHK and GHK-Cu?

GHK is the single tripeptide. GHK-Cu is this same tripeptide linked to a copper ion, the most studied form.

Is GHK-Cu sensitive to light?

Yes. Like most peptides, it should be stored away from light, in the refrigerator.

Is the reconstitution kit included?

The kit (bacteriostatic water and set of 10 syringes + 10 swabs, at €0) is free from €99.99. Below that, ticking them on the product page brings them down to €4.99. Bought on their own, they stay at their catalogue price.

When will my order be shipped?

Orders placed before 2 pm ship the same day. Allow 3 business days in France, Belgium and Luxembourg (Mondial Relay), 3 to 4 days in Germany and Austria, 5 days in the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Poland, and 3 to 6 business days to other countries. Free delivery from €200.

Where to find batch documentation?

The available certificates can be viewed from the Certificates page. Always check that the product and lot number on the document matches your vial.

How to store this product?

Storage and stability conditions depend on the form, batch, container and method. Refer only to the documentation applicable to the lot received.
