About R3TA
A triple agonist
R3TA is a synthetic peptide that activates three hormonal receptors at the same time: those for GLP-1, GIP and glucagon. It is often referred to by the nicknames “R3” or “reta”.
The first molecules in this family targeted only one receptor, that of GLP-1 (this is the case for Sema). Tirz added a second, that of GIP. R3TA combines the glucagon receptor, making it one of the most studied molecules of its generation.
What the research studies
R3TA is the subject of a clinical trial program dedicated to the regulation of metabolism, appetite and weight. The results of the phase 2 trial were published in 2023 in the New England Journal of Medicine.
It does not currently have any marketing authorization in France. The products sold by PeptidLab are intended exclusively for scientific laboratory research.
The freeze-dried vial
Lyophilization removes water from the peptide under vacuum and at low temperature. In powder form, R3TA remains stable much longer than in solution. The vial should be stored in the refrigerator, away from light, until reconstituted with bacteriostatic water.
Storage
Store between 2°C and 8°C before reconstitution. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water at time of use. Product intended exclusively for laboratory research.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between R3TA, Tirz and Sema?
The number of receptors targeted: one for Sema (GLP-1), two for Tirz (GLP-1 and GIP), three for R3TA (GLP-1, GIP and glucagon).
Why is R3TA called “R3”?
“R3” is a common nickname in research communities, referring to its three target receptors. “Reta” is a simple abbreviation, and “ratatouille” a frequent distortion of the name.
Which vial strength should you choose?
All six vials (10 to 60 mg) contain the same peptide; only the quantity changes. The larger the vial, the lower the price per milligram.
Is the reconstitution kit included?
Yes. This vial is €99.99 or more: the bacteriostatic water and the set of 10 syringes + 10 swabs are added at €0. Ticking them as extras brings them to €4.99 instead of their price on their own.
When will my order be shipped?
Orders placed before 2 pm ship the same day. Allow 3 business days in France, Belgium and Luxembourg (Mondial Relay), 3 to 4 days in Germany and Austria, 5 days in the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Poland, and 3 to 6 business days to other countries. Free delivery from €200.
